Exploring Key Concepts of Simple, Organic Church
The purpose Coffee Cup Conversation Blog is to provide simple ideas and tips to help you with your everyday walk as a Christian. The emphasis is on practice and action but from time to time we will need to examine and explore some key concepts of simple organic church.
That is why I have stated a new category entitled “Key Concepts”.
From time to time I will post articles to this category to help us explore some foundational principles. These posts will not deal with ideas, tips and inspiration as much as they will give us a base upon which our life habits and simple, organic church principles can be built.

My Dad pointed me to your blog and I look forward to this particular topic. New movements in Christianity can be difficult to define at first so these key concepts of simple; organic church will be helpful in my understanding of it.
Miller – welcome to the conversation. Ken is an OK guy. Don’t hesitate to drop your questions and comments.
What do you mean just “ok.” Like my kids say to me, “I am your biggest fan.”
Hi Ken – I didn’t say your “just” OK. To me the phrase means that I like someone. They’re regular, down to earth kind of people. An “OK guy” is someone I like to spend time with and hang out with. Therefore, you are an “OK guy”!!!
I know I was just kidding. Thanks for being faithful to what God has called you to do and part of that is forcing us out of our comfort zone. I think there is a new trend in what we call traditional church that is using missional practices and to some degree organic church philosphy if I can say it that way. We are realizing the attractional method might collect sheep but not make disciples. I look forward to seeing what happens in the future.
yes, i too am in tune on the key concepts theme.
If you have any “key concepts” you would like to see in this category, let me know.
